new car plans

OK, gas is $1.90/gal, the kids are past the carpool stage, and I don't have much excuse to drive a Surburban around, except my Mill Creek double fits so nicely on the top. So what to do? Buy something with great mileage and buy a trailer? Look at shorter models of longish vehicles (maybe a station wagon?) I need a backseat - so the little pickups are out. Suggestions?
