Ounces per resin or hardener pump stroke

I’m near the bottom of my hardener container and desperately want to use all I have and still get the right proportions. I’m too impatient to wait for my order or new epoxy to arrive. Does anyone know how many ounces is in each stroke of resin and/or hardener. I couldn’t find anything on the MAS website. I never thought to do a test pump with each product to see how many ounces is dispensed.

Maybe someone has done this and can share their wisdom.

Thanks,

Scott

RE: Ounces per resin or hardener pump stroke

Scott,

No exact numbers for you since I've only used System 3 pumps (1 stroke from each yields 3 ounces of mix), but if you're trying to use the bottle dregs you'll be better off pouring into calibrated measuring cups than pumping.

Pumps have a minimum unusable amount that they won't get out and they suck air and blow bubbles as they get to the end. They're great on reasonably full bottles but lousy at the very end.

Good luck,

Laszlo
