Re: wood inlays on deck

Put the deck on first. I used white carpenter's glue for all pieces. Pretty good tack time and you can move the pieces around for a few minutes, unlike contact cement. I didn't pre-epoxy them before putting down the cloth. Just put on the cloth and roll on a couple extra layers of epoxy with sanding between each coat. End up with the appearance of inlays. I actually had to argue with a guy a couple of days ago that they were onlays, not inlays. Links to pics if the picture doesn't appear here.
