cold fingers
Posted by LeeG on Jan 13, 2005
With the toggles(what is the proper turm for them things?) you can put the hatch on even if your fingers were stiff and c(old) just by pressing down on the hatch and pushing the toggle over with a flat hand. Fiddling with hatches while at the waters edge, tide rising, last minute stuffing, last minute looking for things, 'hurry',isn't the best time to have cold stiff fingers working fastek buckles requiring max finger strength from two arms, two hands, two thumbs, four fingers all working together.
