I would recommend using a metal scraper to clean up as much as possible and then go with Roger's suggestion of some shop lights. I had to scrape some uncured epoxy off of my paddles and redo the work but letting them sit under a light for a bit after scraping got most of the hard work accomplished for me. If it's still sticky after a day or two under the lights, hit it again with some sand paper before reapplying the epoxy.
