diva sea kayaks?

www.bandbyachtdesigns.com/diva.htm I just found this website and was intrigued by the hull construction as I have not seen this folding technique before (I'm new to boatbuilding). Has anybody built a kayak like this? I imagine that a template is placed over a couple of pieces of ply. The finished product looks OK.
