Stiring thickned epoxy!?!

I started my MC16.5 project last fall but quite due to cold temperatures and other projects to do. Now I'm nearly ready to get back into it. I had started the interior fillets when I quit and had a heck of a time mixing up enough, and stirring it together, to figure there has got to be a better way.

The tip in the manual to screw screws into a stick and put it in the drill didn't quite work. The stick can only be so big to chuck it into the drill and the screws were splitting the dowel I used.

I was thinking of stealing a whisk from the kitchen (shhhhh) and using it by hand. But then I had images of it all globbing together and making even more of a mess.

Has anyone devised some neat stir'ers' that work well when trying to mix up peanut butter consistency epoxy with minimal effort?!
