I know I've seen something that carries a line through a deck here before. Maybe another forumite can help alleviate my current frustration, point <link> me the way to it.

Looking for something to bring a line through a deck to facilitate adding a rope steering system to my Waterlust expedition canoe, eliminate the distraction of the push/pull tiller as well as add steering capability farther forward and on both port & starboard sides.

Doesn't have to be here either of course but I thought I'd ask here first....
