Has anyone investigated the possibility of using a different material other than the plywood when constructing a teardrop camper. I'm just starting to talk with my composite supplier. Perhaps an Arimid honeycomb, a Beltek Coremat or even a polypropylene core???

The camper gets its strength from the pre-stressed monocoque construction of the shell. There are no frames inside it. Any alternate material will need to have the same characteristics as plywood or make up for the lack through added and/or exotic material.
