Making sure of balance?

Hi there,

I am building the San O, and just had to plane of a bit more of a sheer clamp on the left side protruding over the side panel once glued than the right panel, it was the back section which was about 1mm more than the other for a length.

I am concerned of subesequent slight unbalance of board. Im going to try to line up the clamps and take off a bit more from the other. Then bevel them both to reduce weight as said.

What about other innacuracies such as a slight unbalance of resin etc once made?

Is it possible to counteract that with small weights on the inside if this onfortunatley proves to be the case?
