OK thanks, good to know. I did actually measure the sheers on each side and marked with a pencil then used that as a guide when bevelling with a plane, it helped quite a bit.
I suppose the factor of buoyancy and outer symetry of the board when in the water will counteract any slight micro unbalance a fair way.
I will put the board construction photos on my site soon, Im going to be changing the site design and content to more of my own paddles for now, hopefully lots of paddles over the summer with the San O!
