Joe...I would echo all the great points made by Lee and especially highlight his suggestion of tacking the joints and removing the wires before the fillets are made. It's the difference between making nice smooth, easily applied fillets as opposed to hitting a wire every 4" and settling for large unruly joints. Even if you carefully push down the wire (and I used pretty thin 20 ga. wire) you'll still have to accommodate with a wider/heavier fillet. The bit of time spent removing the wire is more than worth it.
