It's usually easier to hold mainsheets if the tail comes from the bottom, rather than the top. You can convert your existing arrangement by turning it upside down, and using a becket block at the bottom. This gives you somewhere to tie the end to. Also, you could use a bottom block with incorporated cam cleat, which CLC seem to have done on theirs.
