Wilke,

My Skerry is rigged as Jim explained. Start running the mainsheet from the thwart. That said, I've still come back from sailing in high winds and not been able to straighten my fingers.

I'm considering switching to double blocks so I can run the mainsheet through a second time and benefit from the mechanical advantage.
