Safety Wire Twister Plier
Posted by Erik L on Feb 22, 2006
I've got a pair of aviation safety wire twister pliers that were handed down to me years ago by an old crusty aircraft mechanic.
It has dawned on me that they might come in handy for stitching. Does anyone have any experience with them in this manner? Good idea? Bad idea?
If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is a pair of pliers that grabs 2 ends of safety wire and twists them together without a whole lot of effort. I just don't know if they'll work well with the wire in the kit.
Thanks!
