Re: sealing rigging screw

i would go with lee's suggestion to put a couple drops of unthikened epoxy in each hole. the only variation i have from lee's technique is that i will drive the screw in after putting a couple drops of epoxy...and then remove the screw entirely.
i look to ensure that the whole hole is wet out...if if do not get a bit of epoxy coming out when the screw goes down...i do it again.
i then let the epoxy cure. the next time the screw goes in..it is with a coat of silicone.
i think lee hit the nail on the head that you don't want an opening for water.
the most comprehensive method...but time consuming...is drill, fill, drill. but i think you can get by with lee's or my variation.
