The colors I intend using are flag blue and fire red. These should cover the white well.

I guess the number of white coats is a function of what is required for coverage at the white stripe.

I did wonder if I should feather the edges of white stripe and then later feather the flag blue and fire red.

The idea being to have a smooth transition.

I know nothing about painting, so I expect to learn much in this thread.
