"Lift off speed"?
Posted by Tony Calvert on Apr 28, 2004
Here's a question for those of you with flush magnetic hatches, When cartopping the kayaks to the water do the hatches stay on ok at 60mph (100kph)?
I have just finished my kayaks and I know the hatches are fine at 40mph (70kph) but don't want to find out they don't hold the hard way.
8 1/2 inch rare earth magnets per hatch and they are standard CH 16 size.
Thanks Tony
