You may want to wash the hull with warm water and mild soap (dish soap) to get ride of any amine blush which may be present, then sand very lightly just to give it some tooth and then carry on with your next layer of epoxy. If it has sat since last fall the amine blush may be your major concern and washing the hull will fix that.
