Dan,

Robert Miller and his son Daniel have just started building their Skerry. Their plans are to rig theirs similar to a Whillyboat. Robert came by my place to check out my skerry a few months ago and brought along a drawing of his sail plan and the modifications needed to support it It looked REALLY nice. What's nice is that Sailrite sells a kit for the Whillyboat.

Obviously, we won't know for sure how it works until it's put to the test. However, I have been communicating with Robert for a while now, and I can tell you that the guy is very thorough about his research.

I know Robert frequents this forum, but you can also reach him and other Skerry builder over at the Skerry forum (see link below). In fact, I think this topic has been disscussed over there.
