carbon golf shafts

Gary, My favorite arrangement is epoxing carbon fiber golf shafts thru the hull and shear clamps and under the deck. I knot the bungie fabric together and add some epoxy to the knot which is hidden INSIDE the shaft. All you will see is a hole and the bungie comming thru. The shafts are light, strong, and free (or at least cheap) at any golf repair place. I especially like this arrangement behind the coaming where shafts can also reinforce the rear deck. Bill
