I'm looking for recommendations on how to rig my canoe for carrying....preferably photos. I see CLC sells brass cleats and bronze fairleads...any preference or advantages of one over the other, or something else entirely?
The Sass. 16 is 68 lbs; you might opt for a kayak cart, to save your back, like this one here - https://www.clcboats.com/shoptips/fitting_out/kayak_cart.html - if you plan on portaging, you can set the dolly on top of the bow deck, and strap it down to the hull with bungees during your travels on the water.
