I had previously seen a post (I believe by WoodOgre?), describing the use of SealCoat on the sanded cedar decks prior to glassing, so as to prevent so much epoxy uptake into the raw cedar strips.
If you are reading this and have such experience, the Zinssers product has various instructions depending on the application (straight vs thinned, one coat vs two, sand after or not). How should it be used for this application?
Thanks,
Hickory

Hickory, One coat of SealCoat only . I spray with Hvlp but brushing or padding is OK. Never ever sand !!!! If you sand your glass job will be blotchy .
