I am looking for a service that would CNC cut the pannels for a stretch dory, does CLC do this? What do they charge for this service? I live in S. Florida the boat must be stored out side in the heat and high humidity, would Power Ply be a better choice than Okome for the side pannels. I am concerned about moisture wicking into the end grain at the top of the gunnels resulting in delamination problems. With the fixed seat style of oar locks the joint would experience alot of mechanical action that would encourage wicking. We have an Okome CLC kayak that has suffered moisture discoloration damage thru the epoxy coatings and will have to be painted. So far the structure seems intact. What recommendation do you have on the stretch 19' Bolger light dory?
