Chris,

Don't worry, you really can't mess this step up. CLC did the builders a big favor by arranging the holes so they only match up if we've arranged the panels correctly.

Put the glass tape on the inside, the joints towards the back end and match the concave curve of the sheer panels to the convex curves of the deck panels. Follow the link to a larger picture if this isn't clear to you (reload the page if you don't see the section titled "Loosey Goosey").

Definitely bevel the deck edge otherwise it will be difficult to keep things in position. On mine I didn't bevel the hull edge and had no problem.
