Silicone caulk is bad
Posted by Charlie Jones on May 6, 2007
Far as I'm concerned it has absolutely NO place on a boat. It fills pores and later prevents varnish, paints and epoxy from sticking.
And once it's on a surface, you'll have the devils own time getting rid of it.
I abhor, detest and actually hate the stuff.
