let cure overnight?

What exactly is let cure overnight? 8, 12, or 24 hours?

If I'm working on the hawk at 10:00pm and go to bed then when I get up its been overnight(-8 hours)...lol...or am I supposed to wait 24? Any insite would be appreciated. I'm workning on the butt joints later today, and wondered if 8 hours would be enough time before adding the second layers of glass and epoxy. Or is it too soon?
