Flat aft deck alteration?

Please bear with me if this is a stupid question.

It seems from all the picts I've seen that the aft deck on the Arctic Hawk is quite flat ( maybe I'm wrong). Would it be possible, or more importantly, practical, to make it more rounded like the front? Or would this take away from the kayak's performace? I just happen to like the look of a rounded deck both fore and aft. Thoughts?
