cutting the decks
Posted by ray on Mar 11, 2005
Hi
I am now ready to fit the deck to the planed sheers (ch 17)
The plans say cut the cockpit out before fitting the deck. That sounds fine in principle - the reality seems more complicated. I have a number of questions.
1. how should i locate where the cockpit opening should be in relation to the rear bulkhead? 2. Should this be cut out before fitting the deck 3. the front deck panel needs a small scarf - is it ok to stick this scarf while fitting the deck 4. I would like to fit without nails - any tips?
thanks
ray
