I'm suprised that John did not mention the Windmill class boat. It is designed for home construction and very fast but requires care and accuracy to make a boat that measures for the class. If you can get a couple of beers in "John from CLC", he can tell some really funny stories about building three Windmills at one time in his dads garage in three weeks. Might be a good story for the Fest this Spring.
