so what made you clue into the need for smooth interiors on s&g kayaks? For me it was picking up the kayak and walking to the beach,,my hand finding a grip on 50lbs of kayak and occasional needles of epoxied shards. Thereafter reaching into a compartment with cold wet hands and finding drips of blood here and there. The leaky float bag experience occured first in a glass kayak then a CLC Patuxent 17.
