Re: mounting footbraces

Well, I just bought the little stud kit thing that CLC sellls, but Kurt built some really cool cedar? blocks to mount his. Basically all you do is mount the rails to some sort of standoff and then epoxy/fiberglass that standoff to the hull.
The kit that CLC sells took me all of 10 minutes to line up correctly and install. (Not counting epoxy cure time which you have to do one side at a time.)
