oh what the heck,,"true sea kayak" might be code for "day hatch, skeg, snug cockpit outfitting and a whole bunch of bungie". The Tempest provides a more comfortable transition from moderate initial stability to leaning without the more abrupt twitchiness that can occur with a four paneled hull. The Hawk is a bit wetter ride. Sure it's "just as seaworthy" but it's not a "true sea kayak" if a true sea kayak is one with day hatch, skeg, snug cockpit outfitting and a whole bunch of bungie on a molded hull. The Cape Horn is there so there's a sea kayak with a Phase 3seat.
