Hi Stephen,

First things first... Let's find out what the cause of the problem is...

* Have you kept the hatches closed without thoroughly letting the compartments air dry? Believe it or not a blueish/blackish/green algae can get going in that kind of warm dank environment... Be sure to check for early stages of rot...

* I assume copper isn't an issue...

Beyond that I'm stumped...
