green stains on deck?

We have a 2 year old MC 16.5 that has recently started to show streaks of green on the deck. They appear to be coming from beneath the fiberglass. We think it may be due to moisture penetrating the deck from the inside...has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions besides the obvious one of painting...currently we are putting a light bulb inside the hatches to dry out the area. Thanks for any advice or commiseration.
