Sapele is a beautiful reddish-brown African wood with a deep, swirling grain. It's getting hard to find, especially in the ultra-high grades that were typical of now-disappeared European mills like Shelman. Joubert, in France, is our main supplier of this AAA+ grade of sapele. When available we will sometimes use other well-known, high-quality European manufacturers. Call for current stock availability.
