cleaning an unfinished CH16 that has sat awhile

Hi all,

I have a CH16 hybrid that I started about a year ago.  It is almost finished.  The glass is on, the weave is filled and I think I put another coat of epoxy on after that.

It is very dusty.  What is the best way to clean it?

My first thought is to dust it off with a hand broom and then wipe it down with something.

Would that something be denatured alcohol or something else?  Does denatured alcohol leave any residue?

Thank you for any comments/advice.

I should have added that there are a couple of drips that I want to sand and then I would like to get on another coat or two of epoxy.

Thank you.

Wash well with plain water (no soap or detergent). When its thoroughly dry, wipe it down with denatured alchohol. DN will not leave a residue. Epoxy that has cured that long should be sanded with 220 before additional coats.
