Sand hull or build deck as next step?
After an interruption of construction on a Chesapeake 17LT, I am finally able to resume construction.
To date, I have basically completed the hull. The next step of construction is the building of the deck. But, my understanding is that I could also start sanding the hull prior to doing the deck.
So my question is...which would make the most sense to do next - start building the decking or start sanding the hull?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that input, I think I'll sand and paint the interior next, then lay on the decking.

If you're going to sand inside, it's much easier to do so before the deck is on. Same thing applies to invisble footbrace mounts.
Otherwise, the hull/deck together are much stronger and can handle the stresses of sanding better than just the hull alone.
