MC16 carlins

I am dry fitting the carlins to the deck beam.Where the carlins meet at the centerline on the deck beam, they are canted at an angle.If they are epoxied like that,it seems like the nose block and coaming will not fit very well and I may get good size gap between the deck and coaming.Am I worried about nothing?How would I fix it if it is?Thanks-Gary
