Ches. 17. How much Epoxy?

Here is the story. I'm building the Cape Charles 17. Back in the day when this was designed it called for only fiberglass tape on the interior and exterior of the seams. Now I'm adding improvements that were learned over the years. The Chesapeake 17 replaced the CC 17 and now you use tape on the internal seams, glass cloth in the cockpit and cloth on the exterior of the hull, which is what I plan to do. My CC called for 3 qts of epoxy. How much epoxy is required for the Chesapeake 17? I have a feeling I'm going to need an extra quart of epoxy because of the glass. Thanks
