Thanks Tim My measurements show that the rudder would extend 5" below the keel level. What I don't know is how low the stern sits in the water with 150 lbs on board. Would the waterline be 3" to 4" above the keel? Also how effective is the rudder that sits in the water but above the keel level. Does the turbulence there reduce it efficiency?
One suggestion is to lower the deck level at the attachment area. Or make my own rudder.
