Interesting pattern of alternating strips from the outside, in, out, ... Keep plugging away, you'll get there.

It may be hard to appreciate the color of the strips now, but you'll be amazed how the color jumps out once you epoxy the deck. To enhance the wood color I used West System with 207 hardener before applying the glass to bring out the wood tones. The result looks more like varnish applied to raw wood rather than the clear coat effect of System Three. The finish in the West207 picture coated with West 207, sanded 220 grit, and ready for glass application.
