Jim - I did check out the "Choosing a Kayak" section of the website. I think I understand a bit more now about kayak sizing. I think my next step will be to go to REI's kayak test site and take notes of which sized kayaks work for me, and then search for building plans from there. Speaking of building plans - are there any available as AutoCAD downloads? It seems I could then modify a plan on my own to siut my size.
