That makes sense. One of the things I like about the Shearwater and the Merganser is the edge is less acute behind the cockpit than the flatter Chesapeake or Arctic Hawk.

Is there any spring back when the temporary forms are removed? On the two Mergansers and two Pygmies I've made it's normal to have a little spreading/prying to get the deck and hull to match up before gluing and that's without any bending panels.
