It may be a case of Ford v.s. Chevy. In the end personal preference probably has alot to do with it. I'd say that ultimately the design of the boat is the most important thing. It has to fit you, and you have to like it. I looked at both before I ordered a CH17LT, my first time build. I simply preferred the design of the boat. Prior to ordering a kit, you really can't see the construction manual or kit components, so its sort of a guessing game. But I've found the CLC manual to be very clear. Don't know about the Pygmy manual. What I have since found is that CLC has excellent builder support, both on the other end of the phone and on this site. But then I always was a Dodge guy...
