Thanks for the info. Got up at 5:00 AM to catch the epoxy in the prime stage of greeness. Used the razor knife with the flexible blade run way out to trim the glass.

This was one of those operations I've read a lot about here and it went as advertised - almost. I did find out that 'poxy sticks really well to blue painter's tape because I had a mental lapse and completely forgot the clear packing tape that was supposed to go over the blue tape for a release layer. But pulling the cloth and tape away from the hull together as I ran the razor knife along the edge of the tape worked OK inspite of the operator error.

While the first fill coat is curing I'll bias cut some 4 oz cloth strips to go on the shears where I'll be wacking them with the paddle.
