Hey, the fun of building your own boat is making little mods like this.

I think if you keep the radius pretty flat, 24" to 48", you won't have any trouble with compound curves. Even a small amount of deck radius will look nice.

Still, you now understand why we specified that they be flat: to keep it simple. I think they look pretty good as designed.
