Thanks - that's an interesting idea. This is for the young one who is still under 4' tall.

I think your spray skirts will work on a slightly smaller coaming. Just in case - are there adjustable diameter skirts around somwhere?

Also - if I build from plans and use 3 sheets of 3mm and 1/2 of 6mm that would mean the hatches are going to be 3mm think. I believe your standard kits ship with 4mm hatches. Anything to be concerned about using 3mm for the hatch covers?
