Ted Moores "Kayaks You Can Build" gives a detailed description of building a Pygmy, a CLC, and a Bear Mountain Boats.

It is a beautiful book that anyone building a S&G should have anyway.

I've built to CLC's and a Shearwater Boats (the last is similar to the Pygmy's in construction.

Moores' book is a good source on differences as the Kayak Forum that other messages have pointed you to.
