One more point
Posted by Robert N Pruden on Dec 7, 2004
As a motorcyclist, I ahve learned that it is absolutely necessary to survival that I act as if anyone could and probably will swerve to hit me or cut me off. With that in mind, I have learned to be very observant of what other drivers are not only doing but thinking about doing. I have transfered this paranoid concept to paddling and have found that I see many more things that I didn't see before. Enjoying paddling while watching out for myself and others has become a habit I don't have to remind myself to think about: I just do it because I know it could mean the difference between life or death to me or some one else.
